Women’s Equality Day

Since 1971, Women’s Equality Day has been celebrated annually on August 26.

The celebration falls on the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment which granted women the right to vote.

I  personally vote for equal rights for women. I don’t know about you but I have grown as a man having women in my life.

Many of these women have enriched my life tremendously. I have learned from them not only by their words but by their example.

Voting was just the beginning of  a long battle to be equal and I believe equal pay is deserved too.

I hope and encourage all you men out there believe in and celebrate Women’s Equality Day.
